Well I wish I could say that I woke up feeling refreshed and amazing because I didn’t. I went to bed super early for me last night. I couldn’t keep my eyes open and was just exhausted. And that was okay except that after a little sleep… I had to pee every 1/2 hour. And then from 2 to 5am I just couldn’t stop being restless. I was just feeling weak I think. But I finally felt a little relief and got a few hours sleep. Woke up at almost 10 and the first thing I thought was “oh Shit” I have to start eating something or I’ll never get enough in today.
I poured (and measured) a cup and a 1/2 of Raisin Bran with a cup of 1% and sat down to get a little work done. The is an arctic blast hitting Philadelphia right now and of course I get an email that my condo on the Jersey shore needs to be looked in on because other around me are having issues with their pipes freezing.
So that made me drop everything today and head for the shore. I grabbed a few bottles of water and headed for the beach. Did I tell you it was 9 degrees there today and a wind that was killing me.
I grabbed 2 water bottles and a few healthy snacks… apple, almonds, and a Go – Lean bar. The last thing I wanted to do was drink water after the brutal night that I had but I had to drink something. I am hoping that the caffeine withdrawal headache goes away soon.
Everything at my family crib was okay and I took a few quick photos on the boardwalk and headed home. I stopped at the rest stop to go to the bathroom and bought two string cheeses to get me home. The smell of Roy Rogers there was killing me.
I had a sensible dinner. Chicken grilled in low fat Italian and 3/4 of a sweet potato. Not a big fan of the consistency. But when I looked at my Lose it app. Which I have been using btw. I am still not getting enough food and especially protein. I know I need more protein. So tomorrow I will concentrate on high protein meals and snacks.
I made a pretty awesome fruit smoothie after dinner with blackberries, mango, banana, and blue berries… And a 42 grams of protein shot 🙂 Have to get my protein in.
The Flyers are on. Time to get lost in a little photo editing and some hockey.
