Okay so I am a few days late and I am sorry. I have been trying very hard to get my shit together and figuring out where I wanted to work out etc. Lot’s going on for the same feeling that everything stays the same. So if you read my last blog I checked in and was going to do a 10 day reset and refocus. So I did tell you to make sure you followed my IG cause I would check in there every night and I have been doing that.
My starting weight was 331.4 (which was down 4.5 pounds from my last blog so there was that to be proud of. My measurements were in the graphic I just posted as well. We will see next Thursday when it’s all over where I fall. I’ll take pounds, I’ll take inches. Whatever.
My eating and water intake for the first 4 days has been on point. I did a 90 minute bootcamp class at a new gym on Monday and then couldn’t walk for two days. But I got back at it by Wednesday and was at the gym and Orange Theory. Yesterday I did a bootcamp and cardio kick boxing. So I am getting my workouts in. I am grinding for sure.
Its almost 3 years since I have been going to the same gym/bootcamp in Philly. I have met so many amazing people there and many have come and gone before and after me. That gym is always changing and they moved their classes to a storefont and a lot of the things I love about the old gym are gone. I used amazing ER racks, leg presses, and things like that to add to my boot camp experience. And you see that’s what I got out of it. That was my favorite part. To me that added stuff I was able to use made It great.
The storefront isn’t as big as the warehouse and my favorite things can’t come with. So it makes me a little sad. So many people are running for the hills and being kinda childish about it on Facebook. Whatever. 2 weeks ago that gym was the greatest thing since slice bread. I loved the warehouse feel. I miss it and I find that’s where I prosper the most. I still we go to some classes there and go see my friends. They were part of my journey. That gym is part of my journey. I still want to go on record that I hate change. I will miss my gym family that seems to be scattering.
The new gym I joined has classes and a meathead area with everything I need. Its 5 minutes from home and it will do just fine. I am pretty happy about it. Last night I ran, I sweated, I worked my butt off. In the end that’s what its all about. Excited to see where the next few months take me.
I will check back in here on Thursday with my results and hope everyone has a great weekend!
