I woke up today and went a little crazy because I kinda broke my Nike Fuel band in my sleep. But I got it back together. I won’t be wearing it to sleep anymore.
Today I was determined to get as much protein as I could. I left so much better this morning and only had to get up once to go to the bathroom last night. Much better sleep too.
For breakfast I had a cup and an half of raisin bran and 30gram protein shake. I went to Dunkin Donuts and got a medium coffee with light cream and 1 sugar. I usually get extra of both.
For a snack I had a go lean fiber bar. Then for lunch I made two steak um slices, a slice of cheese and put it on a whole wheat sandwich thin. It was about 320 calories and it was good. My mid-way snack was a snack sized protein drink. 100 calories and 19 grams of protein.
Dinner was 2 scrambled eggs, a slice of cheese and two slices of bacon on a sandwich thin.
I went to the Franklin Mills mall and walked the entire mall. Kinda surprises myself.
When I got home I made a fruit smoothy and another protein sized snack shake.
I need more calories so I had 4 crackers and 12 slices of pepperoni. I didn’t want any more peanut butter. I am not sure how I’ll ever get the protein I need and stay under calories. Protein is expensive too!
I needed 200 more Nike Fuel to hit my 2500 goal for today. So I sucked it up and went down stairs to the elliptical. I hit goal. I know I can’t hit it every day. But I had the time to do it today and I wanted to make sure that I did it.
So as I type at 10:10pm. I have 2573 Nike Fuel, 1216 calories off. And 6069 steps today.
I was 613 calories under budget on the lose-it app today. I had 166g of protein and it says it’s only 25% of what I needed today. I might have to try to make better protein choices but I am not sure what more I can do.
Today was a good day.
