So it’s January 6th. It’s 7:47am. I almost killed myself getting into the basement to weight myself. The gym area of the basement is a mess and needs to be worked on. Maybe tonight.
Well I weighed in. 410.9lbs. So for once in my life I will round up because none of my trackers want to deal with the .9lbs. So that’s the starting point for this year. 411lbs. “Wow. I gained 11 pounds since the summer.” was all I could think about.
So I came upstairs. Sat in my chair and opened my Lose-It app on my iPhone. Plugged everything I needed and was told I could lose 2 pounds a week and be at my goal of 100 lbs by December if I stayed under 3200 calories a day. That seems like a lot to me. But I know I am tall and big, so I guess I have to fuel the fire to burn the fat.
So now comes the hard part. I want to ease into this. So I grab the Raisin Bran and plug it in to app. Wow. Look at the Carbs. Wait did I just say that? Who am I? So i grabbed the cheerios for now till I go out tonight and get some Go Lean or something.
It’s amazing what a serving really looks like. I am not digging this. But I mean 2 lbs at least a week. I can do this if I can focus. The house is pretty much cleared of any junk food. That’s the good thing about having two kids home from college at the same time. Little by little it will be about putting better choices in the house.
Heading to the studio today so I’ll fill that fridge with water. And put some protein shakes in there too. And we are off!
I stopped at Giant today and got a 1/4 pound of Turkey that I ate out of the bag.
I had a sensible dinner. Went to the mall to walk a little and more groceries. Eating healthy is expensive.
The app says that I can eat up to 3100 calories. I only had 1560. So tomorrow I have to do better. I need more protein for sure.
My Nike Fuel Band got here around dinner time and I have it running. Well see what it does. From 6pm on.. I burned 452 Calories and took 2405 steps. Not too bad.
And we are definitely off….
