Christmas has come and gone and it did me 5 pounds dirty in the end. Santa really got me something that I didn’t want. Getting to my goal will be an utter miracle by January 6th. So when it comes down to it. I will do what I can till the 6th. Weigh in. Tell you all about it and then re-access my situation, where I am, where I am going and how I want/can get there. What else can I do?
I have lost a lot of weight in the last year and I although it bums me out a little bit. That I could not hit the goal that I set myself. I did get side tracked with my broken elbow for almost 8 weeks. So letting myself have a few more weeks to get to my goal isn’t going to be a big deal. Once I get there I am only going to set another one. I will take the next few days to reflect and think about what I am going to do both with my nutrition and fitness. Sometimes I think I am doing more than I can fitness wise but at the same time I have what most people don’t.. Time. So if I figured the right problem that will blast some fat.. I would be able to do it. I am thinking about switching from Planet Fitness to Retro since they have classes included for $20 bucks and it would help me with the crazy amount of money that I spend a month on classes and what not.
It’s New Years Eve. I started the last day of the year at 4:45 am by getting out of bed and ready for boot camp. I’ll end the year on stage at Parx Casino. The band is playing a sold out show tonight. It was a little over a year ago that I had an out of body experience on stage, couldn’t move and decided to do this. Has it been perfect? No. Nothing is perfect. No journey ever goes off without a hitch. It really is how you overcome those hitches that makes the journey.
I’ll get there. I am good. I am going to have a good time tonight. I’ll wake up tomorrow, get on the scale because in the end, I am a psycho and then head to bootcamp to start the new year.
Well I am all over the place today so I wanted to take a minute to wish everyone an amazing New Year. Be Safe! Thank you for your love and support in 2014 and I look forward to working even harder building relationships, friendships, and happy interactions all around in 2015. I don’t believe in New Years resolutions because I make them every day.. Sometimes they work out and other times I miss the mark. But that’s life. You do get to reset it as many times as you need to. Hit the reset button, breathe it all in and enjoy the New Year!
