Well I was very frustrated and down last week. I couldn’t bring myself to write anything. I didn’t want to bring my 3 readers down before a holiday weekend. I think the tides are changing and I am feeling a little better. So here I am.
To wrap up the summer. I weighed in today at 334.9 so I’ve kinda gotten past the 335 thresh hold. But I ended the summer just about where I started it. It kinda bums me out a little bit but guess what? I’ve lost 76 pounds since I started this trip on January 6th. I’ve been active for 235 days straight. I have never done that before. So I know I am hard on myself most weeks, I know that I wish the weight would come off quicker. But I am trying to change things for the long run so a quick fix isn’t going to help me this time around.
So the summer is over. I am trying very hard to get a good grip of my eating. I am going to carb cycle a little bit. High protein for 3 days and then high carbs for the 4th day. I’ll try it for a few weeks and see how it goes.
I will tell you this. I treated myself to 2 jackets last night. I know have an actual winter jacket. I haven’t been able to fit in a decent one in a few year. North Face. Boom!
I walked almost 4 miles and did a small leg workout at the gym this morning and already hit my fitness goals for the day.
So all I promise this week is that I am going to try harder and keep going. I promise myself. No junk, no caloric drinks. very little alcohol. And I’ll push forward. 24 pounds to goal. Let’s get that.
